JOB DESCRIPTION
This unpaid internship offers the opportunity to assist the General Counsel in preparing and organizing various legal documents for Digital Factory under direct supervision. Key responsibilities include scheduling, sharing information, and managing documents. The role also involves creating spreadsheets and establishing retrieval systems. The internship duration is 6 to 9 months, with potential for a full-time position based on performance, job requirements, and the candidate's availability.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:
  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Compliance Committee, including taking meeting notes, preparing agendas, scheduling meetings, and following up on action items.

  • Demonstrate an interest in the intersection of healthcare and technology industries, with a focus on compliance, privacy laws, and regulations governing these sectors.

  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and exhibit a willingness to quickly adapt and learn new concepts.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and bring a sense of humor to the workplace.

  • Reside in either the Eastern or Central time zone and possess a flexible schedule.

  • Other duties as assigned, etc.

DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Strong research and writing abilities for effective legal support.

  • Strong communication skills for clear and concise interactions.

  • Efficiently, accurately, and promptly respond to multiple project requests.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Certification in Paralegal Studies.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

  • Preference for law students or those with a minor in legal studies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3 years of experience working in a corporate or government legal department.

  • Certified Paralegal (CP)

  • Professional Paralegal (PP)
