Web Developer - Senior - Full Stack

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer with a wide skill set to enhance and maintain the core Digital Factory website as well as contribute to web application development that will be used by businesses and brands to further influence the way consumers interact with their mobile apps. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will also be critical to your success. This is a 6-9 month internship with the possibility of an extension and/or salary based on performance, job requirements, and availability of the selected candidate.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:
  • Take ownership of the designs of the overall web architecture for Digital Factory

  • Write testing frameworks and perform validation testing on your designs

  • Plans, develops, and maintains UI/UX code customizations across all environments

  • Works heavily with the Marketing team and Analysts to make sure the company websites are up-to-date

  • Manage and train a team of web developers

  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of object-oriented design and implementation experience, data structures, and problem solving

  • 2+ years of experience in people management

  • Experience working with Python, Flask web services

  • Experience with Javascript, HTML, CSS, Git

  • Experience in Ruby language

  • Excellent communication skills with clients and team members

  • Experience with tight-turnaround times

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and collaborate with clients and other departments

  • Ability to motivate others

  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-driven atmosphere

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or any related field

  • Applied work experience and/or education directly related to the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed above

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of object-oriented design and implementation experience, data structures, and problem solving

  • 2+ years of experience in people management
