JOB DESCRIPTION

This is an unpaid internship. The Financial Analyst position will receive training and guidance as you learn about the technology services industry. It's a great opportunity for college students who want to develop leadership, sales, project management, and communication skills in a fast-paced and highly supportive environment. The length of the internship is 6 to 9 months with the possibility of a full-time position based on performance, job requirements, and availability of the selected candidate. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights and support to assist in decision-making processes across various departments. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to optimize financial performance and drive business growth.

THIS POSITION WILL ENTAIL:

Perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in driving accounts to a close.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis and reporting.
Analyze financial statements, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
Prepare comprehensive financial models to evaluate potential investments, projects, or business initiatives.
Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management, board meetings, and stakeholders.
Response to inquiries, documentation and communication assistance within the sales team.
Other duties as assigned.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications (or Mac platform Numbers, Keynote and Papers).

Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis techniques.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Have a degree or a current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program in business administration or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience with start-ups is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
